Main Street Mile-Mascot Race-June 24, 2011

June 24, 2011 by Rebecca Russell

Main Street Mile is a benefit for prostate cancer awareness. Proceeds from the event are used to provide free prostate exams along with awareness and outreach programs. Prostate cancer is the nation’s most commonly
diagnosed non-skin cancer with one in six men getting the disease during his lifetime.

Polecat Pete, being a man and all, participated in the Mascot Race.  He wasn’t first – but he wasn’t last either. He finished somewhere in the middle of the pack. I think he would have done better if he hadn’t stopped to help McGruff up after he tripped over the Red Robin. Nice Job Pete & what a great cause!Sinker Stuff 025msm1
